Operationalizing the Poverty-Environment Agenda: Stories from the Country Level

Since the UNDP-UNEP Poverty-Environment Initiative embarked on a scaling up effort in 2007, the Initiative has been continuously evaluating its support to countries and documenting lessons learned. Experience shows that it takes time and sustained effort to move poverty-environment concerns to the centre of development planning and action– but there are many stories of achievement and how progress has been made along the way.
