The present PSIA aims at contributing to national policy by (i) identifying strengths and weaknesses in pasture reforms and their implementation, (ii) analysing the distributional impact of pasture reforms on different socioeconomic strata of pasture users, women and the young, and (iii) identifying relevant stakeholders whose strategies influence the course of pasture reforms in the Kyrgyz Republic and who can contribute to upscaling PEI best practices.
