Poverty-Environment Initiative Champions Initiate Reforestation Campaign in Burkina Faso
(Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso) On September 17, 2013, the Poverty-Environment Initiative Burkina Faso champions – Assita Ouattara (Parlemantarian) and Bishop (emeritus) Anselm Titiama Sanou – initiated a reforestation campaign in collaboration with District 7 of Bobo Dioulasso and the Association of Pupils Parents.
The campaign, which aims to raise awareness around the issue of reforestation and desertification was featured in the headlines at elfaso.net – ‘Initiative IPE : Assita Ouattara et Monseigneur Anselme lancent leur combat contre la désertification.’
Poverty-Environment Initiative Champion Assita arranged a soccer game that provided an opportunity to raise awareness on reforestation and environmental protection.
